How
would you like to drive transformation in ABB’s Marketing & Sales
function to achieve the next level of productivity, as well as
coordinating a team of internal consultants across ABB’s four divisions?
Are you a senior professional with consulting and industry background
and focus on Marketing & Sales strategy? If so, we might have the

Tasks
- Manage a team of 2-3 direct reports as well as lead and coach a variable number of Transformation consultants in the divisions
- Identify and develop Sales Productivity methodologies and best practices while challenging Sales Productivity targets
- Review progress through operational KPIs and action-tracking and analyze deviations
- Support the hiring and development of Sales Productivity consultants in the divisions
- Manage the interaction of internal and external consulting teams
- Promote the rotation of internal consultants across projects in different divisions
The location is flexible, preferred: Germany, UK, other European countries, UAE. Other locations can be considered.
Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing & Sales management and 5+ years of experience in the consulting business
- Having worked in matrix organizations, “leading by influence” skills
- Experience in driving transformational change, leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Background in different types of B2B businesses (standard product, configured, solution, service) and with different routes-to-market (sales reps, telesales, online, distributors, system integrators)
Skills
- Strong business acumen, structured approach in recognizing patterns across business and prioritizing
- Developing and driving common approaches with focus on delivering business impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, executive presence (from CEO level top-down communication to inspiring change in the frontline)
- Familiarity with sales productivity practices and tools
- Ability to manage a team of consultants
- Capacity to motivate and inspire others for change
Mind-set
- Goal-setting, positive, can-do attitude
- Proactive, hands-on approach, ability to to drive speed
- Ability to structure complexity and to simplify solutions and replicate them in other environments
