Food Technologist Savoury - Nigeria

The primary focus of this position is to execute daily brief-related tasks and apply knowledge during the flavour selection, evaluation and application development. Working under the direct supervision of the Communications Specialist for the Country Office, the intern will be required to perform the following functions;
  • Support the Communications Specialist by writing daily content for Twitter, Facebook, and other similar platforms
  • Media Monitoring: monitor traditional and online media from both communities for stories within specific areas of focus that focus on UN(DP) activities as well as highlight development issues in the country
  • Keep up to date on new social media tools (especially Facebook and Twitter), best practice and how other organizations and companies are using them in order to identify new campaigning opportunities
